Other Information
Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.
The Mail Pouch barn other buildings and the site configuration, shown in Photo 2 are all clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1955 & 1981). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 6 is the location where the barn once stood.
Further review of the Historic Aerials' imagery show that the barn had been razed an removed by 1999. Photo 5 is a Google street view looking from US-136 in toward where the barn once stood.
Where to find it *GONE* (rzaed and removed) Along the southwest side of E. Main St. (US-136) south east of the Clay St. intersection, in Mace, by 1.5 miles. The barn was on the right side of E. Main St. headed southeast out of Mace. The northwest and southeast sides each had a Mail Pouch sign. Black backgrounds.
