Other Information

The original site was completly cleared. There is a new barn in the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.

The barn is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1956). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 4 is the exact location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood. The pin was used to determine the address.
Where to find it

*GONE* Southwest corner of the IN Rt. 3 (N Co Rd 100 E) & E Co Rd 1000 N Rd intersection, south of E Eaton-Wheeling Pike/W Indiana Ave., by about 0.6 mile. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed south. The Mail Pouch sign faced south.
