Other Information
Photo 3 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 4.
Photo 3 it appears that in 1969 this may have originally been a Red Background Mail Pouch sign which was changed to Black Background at a later repaint.
Information from Tom Fritsch reported this barn address as being around 42700 Norwalk-Medina Rd. The Ohio Dept of Transportation aerial photo archives were used to confirm the exact location. Photo 6 the Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow. The large barn to the right of the Mail Pouch barn, in Photos 2 & 4 is still existing and is circled in lime. Photo 7 (Google satellite image) the barn location is noted by the red pin. This pin was used to determine the address and coordinates.
In Photo 3 (Google Earth street view) the large barn, shown in Photo 1 still remains in very poor condition. References to this barn were used to establish the approximated coordinates of the small Mail Pouch barn.
Where to find it *GONE* (razed and removed) Along the north side of OH-18 (Medina-Norwalk Rd.) east of OH-58 (Main St.), in Wellington, by 3.3 miles. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed east. The Mail Pouch sign faced east. One end. Black Background.
