Other Information
Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.
Photos 5-7 taken by Larry Zinn in November 1990 show that the owner had apparently repainted the barn white and 'MAIL POUCH' blue over painting a portion of one of the original signs. In subsegeunt photos the old Mail Pouch sign has bled through the overpaint.
This sign is amost impossible to see from the highway due to the overgrowth of folliage. See Photo 18 (Google street view) dated Aug. 2012. The Mail Pouch barn is barley visible looking through the folliage. In Photos 19 & 20 (Google street views) dated June 2018 and Aug. 2021, and taken from approximately the same location, the barn is no longer visible from the highway through the folliage.
Where to find it US Rt. 36/OH Rt. 3 (Columbus Rd.) northeast of the Delaware Co. line by about 5.2 miles. The barn is on the right side of the highway headed northeast. The MP sign faces northeast. One end. Black. Greatly faded.
