The location of the Bull Durham sign may seem odd since it is not really visible to anyone travelling on the main street; however, if you note the red marker in the satellite image (Photo 4), it is apparent that the sign would have been visible to anyone riding on the rail road. This was an important consideration for sign placement years ago when the rail roads had a more prominent role for passenger traffic.

Where to find it

The building with the Bull Durham sign is along Clinton St., in Boswell, just north of Main St. The building is on the right side of the street headed north from Main St. The Bull Durham sign faces north toward the RR tracks. One side. Brick building. Greatly faded.
