The GPS coordinates are approximate. The West End circle has undergone significant changes since 1912-13. S. Main St. is no longer a named street in the area having been used as the route for PA-60 (Lincoln Hwy.). Saw Mill Run Blvd. has been modified. PA-51 (W. Carson St.) terminates at the West End Bridge and becomes PA-837 (Lincoln Hwy.) headed southeast toward downtown Pittsburgh. Trolley tracks (noted as being installed in Photos 3 & 4) were removed and RR bridge elevations modified. Most, if not all, of the building construction, noted in the photos have been razed.

Where to find it

*GONE* S. Main St. southwest of the intersection with PA-51 (W. Carson St..) by about 260', in the West End section of pittsburgh. The Mail Pouch sign faced northeast. One end. Frame house. Black background.
