Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

Photo 3 is Photo # 20 in the Myron Huffman Collection.

The Barn, house and other buildings in the site configuration of Photo 2 is clearly shown in Historic Aerials' imagery (1958). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates of the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 6 is the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood. In reviewing the historic imagery it is noted that the Mail Pouch barn had been razed and removed by 1981.

Photo 5 is a view taken from US-20 looking in at the site where the Mail Pouch barn was once located. The only buildings shown in Photo 2 that are still remaining (as of 2023) are the house and one small out building.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the south side of US-20 (W. Maumee St) west of the I-69 intersection by 2.1 miles. The barn was on the left side of US-20 heading west away from Angola. The Mail Pouch sign faced west. One end. Red background.
