Other Information

Photo 2 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 3.

The Mail Pouch barn, other buildings and the site configuration are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1955). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinate for the Mail Pouch barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 7 the exact location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.

Photo 6 (Google street view - May 2023), the Mail Pouch barn was located to the left of the red barn toward the center of the view. The red barn is existing and can be seen in Photos 3 & 4. In those views the barn is white and since those views were taken a shed addition to the east side of the barn was added and the barn painted red.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the west side of S. Meridian Rd. (US-127) south of the intersection with W.Main St./Hudson Rd. (MI-34), in Hudson, by 5.9 miles. The barn was on the right side of S.
