MPB 38-30-02

This barn was painted or repainted a number of times. In Photo 1 (1978) the paint looks fresh; This may have been the original paint or a repaint. Between Photo 1 (1978) and photo 2 (1986), there was a repaint, which is established by the slight difference is some of the letters, especially the 'M'. Between Photo 2 and 2001, when the barn had fallen there were at least two repaints as noted in Photo 20. Harley Warrick (HW), in 1989 and Mark Turley (MT), in 1991. This seems to be a very short period of time between repaints. 

The 1978 photo by Yenerall had previously been unidentified; however, several characteristics of the barn confirm it to be MPB 38-30-02. The block pier supporting the front left of the barn; the shed on the left of the barn is clearly shown as rubble in subsequent photos; The overhang attachment to the right is clearly shown in other photos and finally, the small shed, in the background of Photo 1 not only shows in subsequent photos but also in the Google street view (2012) and the Bing Map's bird's eye view.
