Other Information

The Ohio Dept of Transportation aerial photo archives were used to locate this barn. Location information provided by Larry Zinn placed the location in the general area. The ODOT aerial photos were required to positively locate the barn. Note in the Zinn photos that looking directly at the barn there is a shed extension to the right of the main barn (southwest side). This extension is clearly shown in Photo 5. The Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow. There is a house which is still remaining southwest of the Mail Pouch barn and it is circled in red.

Photo 6 (Google satellite image) the location of the barn is noted by the red pin. The pin is used to determine the address and the coordinates. The location of the red pin was determined by scaling the distance from the existing house to the barn in Photo 5 and then transferring this scale to the Google satellite image (Photo 6) In Photo 6 the existing house is circled in red.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the southeast side of OH-60 south of OH-376 intersection, in Gaysport, by 4.6 miles. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed south from Gaysport. The Mail Pouch sign faced north. One end. Black Background.
