Other Information

Photos 1 & 2 were taken by Harley Warrick in 1973 when he was at the site restoring the Mail Pouch sign on the barn. Photo 3 (1970 shows that the Mail Pouch sign was starting to weather. Harley repainted in 1973 and in Photo 5 (1978) it shows the restored Mail Pouch sign.

Photo 3 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 4; and, Photo 5 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 6.

Review of Historic Aerials' imagery shows that the barn was still existing in 1981; however, in the next available historic imagery (1988) the barn had been razed and removed. The only building left on the site from the original 1970 & 1978 photos is the farmhouse which is visible in Photo 7.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the north side of US-6 (GAR Hwy), west of the US-35 intersection, at Kingsbury, by 5.8 miles. The barn was on the right side of US-6 headed west from US-35. The Mail Pouch sign faced east. One end. Black background.
