Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

The barn was still existing in historic aerial imagery in Sept. 2013; however, later imagery dated April 2016 showed the barn had been razed and removed sometime prior to April 2016.

Because of the trees and foliage along the northside of the Parkway, the barn had become increasingly difficult to see from the road prior to its removal.

Historic Aerials imagery dated 1969 pinpointed the location of the barn. The distance measurement tool was used and the decimal coordinates for the center of the barn were obtained. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and in Photo 5 the red pin is the exact location where the barn was once located.
Where to find it

*GONE (razed and removed)* Juniata Pkwy E., east of the intersection with PA-34 by 1.3 miles. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed north. The Mail Pouch end faced south. The Mail Pouch side faced east. Black backgrounds.
