Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2; and, Photo 3 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 4.

The Mail Pouch barn and all the other buildings shown in Photo 2 & 4 are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1966). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 6 is the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood. Further review of the historic imagery shows that the barn was gone by 1984 and the house and other buildings all gone by 2008.

Note in Photo 5 (Google street view - Aug. 2023) the small grain silo, clearly visible in the Vintage Aerial Photos is still exisitng.
Where to find it
