Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2. In the photo the bridge pier, which remains, is circled in red (see Photo 3); and, MPS 48-24-24 is circled in blue (see Photo 3).

The building is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1955). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates of the building. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 3 is the location where the building once stood.

The building with MPS 48-24-13 was in the Fairmont section of the city, once known as Palatine Park. It was to the northeast of the old suspension bridge. The pier, in the Monongahela River, which supported the old bridge is visible (and circled in red) in the satellite image (Photo 3). In addition the building to the left (circled in blue) almost at the rivers edge has MPS 48-24-14 (very difficult to see in this view). which faces the river.
