Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

The narn is clearly visible inHistoric Aerials' imagry (1982). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 10 is where the barn was once located.

Dates for the photgraphs are confirmed indicating that sometime after the Shaver photographs in 1986 and before the Zinn photographs in 1988, some repairs and a repaint of the MP sign occurred.

Photo 9 (Google street view) is looking in at the site from Waynesburg Pike Rd. The house shown in Photo 2 is still existing.

There is a new barn in the approximate same location as the old barn.

Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the southwest side of Waynesburg Pike Rd. (US-250), northwest of intersection with WV-891 by 6.0 miles. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed northwest. The Mail Pouch sign face north. One end. Black background.
