Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

The barn and other buildings in the VA photo are clearly visible in Hiostoric Aerials' imagery (1983). The distance tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo for is the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.

Photo 3 is a view looking in from Court Ave. toward where the barn once stood.

It is clear from looking at current satellite images that there are still remains of the barn.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed Along the south side of Court Ave. (WV-3) east of the Barker St. intersection, in Hamlin, by 0.7 mile. The barn was on the right side of Court Ave. headed east out of Hamiln. The Mail Pouch sign faced east. One end. Black background.
