Other Information

Photo 3. It is not known if the building rubble in the view is part of the old Mail Pouch barn or if it is some other building that has fallen.

The barn is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1957). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain teh decimal coordinates of the Mail Pouch barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin in Photo 4 is the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.
Where to find it

*GONE* (fallen) Along the west side of Parkersburg Rd. (CR-21/old US Rt. 21), north of US-33 (W. Main St.), in Ripley by about 4.3 miles. Across from the 'Church of Christ' (the old Mud Run Baptist Church) The barn was on the left side of the highway headed northwest. The Mail Pouch sign faced northeast. One end. Black background.
