Other Information

Photo 5 is a Bing Map's bird's eye view showing the cleared area where the barn was to be erected. Photo 6 is a 2013 photo showing the barn prior to the Mail Pouch sign which was painted for the 2014 Pioneer Fest, put on by the Lynn-Heidelberg Historical Society. The classic black shading (typical for red background Mail Pouch signs) is missing. Normally this barn would have been included in the section 'Mail Pouch in Other Places'; however, it is being treated similar to the barns at Algonquin Mills, in Ohio.

Where to find it

PA-143 (Kings Hwy.), at Ontelaunee Park west of New Tripoli by 0.5 miles. The entrance to the park is 0.5 miles west of the Madison St. (Rt. 4033)/Hoffman Ct. intersection in New Tripoli. After entering the park bear left. The barn is on the left side of the road. The Mail Pouch sign faces east. One end. Red background.
