Other Information

Harley Warrick repainted this barn in 1974. He took Photo 1 after completing the repaint. Photo 2 is a 1973 view of the barn. A magnified view shows that the Mail Pouch sign needed repainted. Photos 3 & 4 were views taken after the repaint.

The Ohio Dept of Transportation aerial photo archives were used to help locate this barn. In Photo 5 the Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow. The house in Photos 2-4, is still existing, and is circled in red.

Photo 6 (Google satellite image) The location of where the Mail Pouch barn stood in noted by the red pin. The pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates. The existing house is circled in red.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the west side of Marietta Rd.(OH-821) south of Pleasant Rd/Main St Intersection, in Pleasant City, by 1.0 mile. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed south from Pleasant City. The Mail Pouch sign faced east. One side. Black Background.
