Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

The Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photo archives were used to locate this barn. Photo 4 is a magnified view from Photo 5 which has been rotated 90° to allow for a better view of the Mail Pouch sign on the east end of the barn. In Photo 5 the Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow. A US Geological Survey image, dated Apr. 7, 1994 shows that the house and barn had been razed by that date. The small white barn west of the Mail Pouch barn and the small white barn perpendicular to and south of the small white barn were still remaining in 1994; however, the site has been completly cleared. Photo 6 (Google satellite image) the location of the Mail Pouch barn is noted by the red pin. The pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the north side of OH-78 northeast of the Main St. (OH-60) intersection, in McConnelsville, by 4.6 miles. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed northeast. The Mail Pouch sign faced east. One end. Black Background.
