Other Information

Initial information Location provided from Larry Zinn's notes accompanying the photographs. The Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photo archives were researched to pinpoint the location of the barn. Photo 6 is a Mar. 1962 view of the barn when the farm was active. In Photo 7, dated Mar. 1, 1988 the barn has fallen into disuse and the trees and foliage have grown up between the barn and the highway, which is the view that was available to Larry Zinn when he took his photos in Sept. 1989. In Photos 6 & 7 the Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow.

Photo 8 (Google satellite image) the Mail Pouch barn location is noted by the red pin. The pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the west side of OH-78 north of Harper Rd (TR-950), in Reinersville, by 0.4 mile. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed north. The Mail Pouch sign faced south. One end. Black Background.
