Other Information

The barn was on the Thurman Christman Farm.

Initial location information was provided by the Shavers. The Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photo archives were researched to determine the exact loaction of the barn. Photo 7 is an Apr.14, 1976 aerial photo with the barn circled in yellow. Photo 6 is an enlargement of Photo 7 and the Mail Pouch sign is clearly visible on the south end of the barn.

Photo 8 is a Mar. 24, 1992 aerial photo showing that the barn was gone and the site cleared by that date. The location of where the barn was located is circled in yellow.
Photo 9 (Google satellite image) is provided for coordination. The barn location is noted by the red pin. Note the intersection of OH-800/Minder Rd.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the east side of OH Rt. 800 north of the Main St. intersection, in Woodsfield, by 5.1 miles. Just north of the OH-800/Minder Rd intersection. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed north. The MP sign faced south. One end. Black background.
