Other Information

Google street views: In Photo 10 an Aug. 2009 the barn is still visible; however, in photo 11 Sept. 2012, the barn has been removed.

Although the Zinn photos (2-6) are older than photos 1, 7 & 8, the MP sign is not as visible indicating that the barn was probably painted over in the 1980's and it has taken some time before the Mail Pouch sign began to bleed through through the over-paint.

Photo 12,dated April 1963, shows that the Mail Pouch sign had not been painted on the west end of the barn at that date.
Where to find it

*GONE (razed and removed)* US Rt. 40 (National Rd SE) east of OH Rt. 79 by 0.5 mile. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed east. The MP sign faced west. One end. Original Black Background.
