Other Information

The Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photo archives were used to confirm the location of this barn. Photo 4 the Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow. The small shed, which is still existing was circled in red. On Photo 5 (Google satellite image) the barn location is noted by the red pin. The pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates. The small shed is circled in red.

Photo 2 shows that by Apr. 1991, the shed extension on the south side of the barn had been removed. The deterioration of the east end of the barn is also noted in this photo.

Photo 3 shows that by Nov. 1999 the barn was gone and the site cleared.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed amd removed) Along the south side of OH-217 west of CR-37 (Scottown-Lecta Rd.), in Scottown, by about 4.1 miles. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed west from Scottown. The Mail Pouch sign faced east. One end. Black Background.
