Other Information

The 'M' in Mail Pouch is barely visible in Photo 1 to the left of the sliding door on the side of the barn. In that photo, to the right of the barn there was a smaller barn (which has been replaced) with a door on the north end of the barn. This barn is clearly visible in the Ohio Dept. of Transportation ariel Photo 4 and is circled in lime. The Mail Pouch barn in that Photo is circled in yellow and the house which still remains is circled in red. This was provided for determining the location of the barn since there was a similar barn almost directly across the highway, which has been removed, which was suspected,at one time, of being the Mail Pouch barn. Photo 4 compared with Photo 1 confirms the barn.

Note in Photo 2 that this barn has been repaired and covered with new siding.

Photo 4 (Google satllite image) the Mail Pouch barn is noted by the red pin. The existing house is circled in red. The red pin was used to determine the barn address and coordinates.
Where to find it

*GONE* (almost faded away now covered over) Along the east side of OH-4 south of OH-18 (east of Bellevue) by 5.5 miles. The barn is on the left side of the highway headed south from OH-18. The Mail Pouch sign was on the west side of the barn. Most likely original Black Background.
