Other Information

Photo 2 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 3.

The Ohio Dept of Transportation aerial photo archives were used to determine the location of where this barn once stood.

In Photo 4 the Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow. In Photo 5 (2001) the buildings on the site have been razed and removed and the yellow circle is the approximate location of where the barn once was located. Photo 6 is a Google satellite image and the red pin is the approximate location of the barn and was used to determine the location coordinates and the old site address.

The shrubs lining the creek, west of the Mail Pouch barn location (and visible in Photos 5 & 6), did not exist. up throught he 1980's and the Mail Pouch sign was clearly visible from Deshler Rd, headed east.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the north side of Deshler Rd (OH-18) east of the intersection with Randolph St, in Bairdstown, by 0.7 mile. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed east from Bairdstown. The Mail Pouch sign faced west. One end. Black background.
