Other Information

Ohio Dept of Transportaion aerial photos were used to determine where the Mail Pouch barn in Photos 1-4 was once located.

In Photos 5 & 6 the barn is circled in 'Yellow'. The original Mail Pouch barn was razed and has been replaced with a new barn. The original house on the site (Photos 2-4) was also razed and replaced with a new residence. In Photos 5 & 6 the house is circled in 'Lime'.

The Mail Pouch barn and the original house are clearly visible in Photos 2-4. In Photos 5 & 6 the small residence is circled in 'Red'. This small residence was not in Photo 2; however, it is visible at the right in Photos 3 & 4, indicating that the small residence was constructed sometime after 1968. The 'Red' Google Pin in Photo 7 is the location where the original Mail Pouch barn once stood.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed - replaced with a new barn) Along OH Rt. 177 (Hamilton Richmond Rd.) north of the intersection with OH Rt. 73 (just north of Darrtown), by 2.4 miles. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed north. Mail Pouch sign was on the south end of the barn. One end. Red Background.
