Other Information

The Ohio Dept. of Transportaion aerial photo files were used to pinpoint the location of this barn.

Coordination between ODOT aerial photos and Google satellite views is as follows: Photos 1 & 2 are 1968 ODOT aerial photos that have been rotated 180°. Photo 3 is the same photo at a higher altitude in the proper compass orientation; Photos 6 & 7 are aerial photos which were used to determine the barn location. The barn is circled in 'Yellow' in these photos. In addition, there is a garage shown in Photo 3 (1968) and which is still existing. This barn is circled in 'Lime' in Photos 3, 6, 7 & 8. In Photo 9, Co. Hwy 138 (Hillcrest Rd) is hi-lited in 'Red' and the "red' Google pin is at the location where the barn once stood. Co. Hwy 138 is also hi-lited in 'Red' in Photo 7. The red pin was used to determine the address and the coordinates.

Photo 4 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 5.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along N High St (US-68) north of the intersection with OH Rt. 32 by about 0.2 mile. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed north. The Mail Pouch sign was on the north end of the barn. One end. Black background.
