Other Information

Photo 3 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 4.

The Mail Pouch barn and other buildings shown in the Vintage Aerial Photos are clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1983). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the Mail Pouch barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 10 is the location where the barn once stood. Further review of available historic imagery shows that the barn was gone by 1998.

Photo 9 is a Google street view looking in from IN-9 toward where the barn once stood.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the east side of Lincoln Ave. (IN-9) north of IN-28 intersection (north of Alexandria) by 2.4 miles. The Mail Pouch sign faced south. One end. Black background.
