Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

Historic Aerials' imagery dated 1966 was used to determine where this Mail Pouch barn was located. The site, as shown in Photo 2, has been completely cleared. The 1966 imagery clearly shows the site configuration and all of the buildings as shown in Photo 2. Historic Aerials' distance measurement tool was used to obtain the exact coordinates of the barn. These coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 3 is the location of the Mail Pouch barn. The pin was used to determine the address and the location information.

Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the west side of US-51 north of the US-50 intersection (just north of Sandoval) by 2.2 miles. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed north from Sandoval. The Mail Pouch sign faced north. One end (possibly two) Black background.
