Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2; and, Photo 3 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 4.

Historic Aerials imagery (1973) was used to locate this barn. The distance measurement tool on the site provided the decimal coordinates for the barn. These coordinates were entered into the Google map program and Photo 6 (Google satellite image) the red pin is where the Mail Pouch barn once stood. The barn was razed and removed and has been replaced by new structures. The pin was used to determine the address and the location information for the entry.

Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the north side of I-70 (US-40) east of the US-51 intersection, in Vandalia, by 4.9 miles. The barn was on the left side of the highway headed east from Vandalia. Mail Pouch sign on the south end of the barn; and, Mail Pouch sign on the est side of the barn. Black backgrounds.
