The GPS coordinates and location on the map below are approximate. The section of Neville St. that the building faced no longer exists. Neville St. runs parallel along the foot of Polish Hill and in the early 1900's merged with 33rd St. A 1914 City of Pittsburgh Property Map was consulted to get the location of the building. The photos show the work on Neville St. which has been excavated to replace the sewer that ran beneath the street. 33rd St. and Neville as well as portions of other streets and buildings along the streets (including the old Pittsburgh Brewing Company) were severely damaged as a result of the 33rd Street sewer explosion that occurred on November 25, 1913.
