Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2.

Historic Aerials' imagery (1987) was used to determine the exact location where the Mail Pouch barn was once located. Historic Aerials' distance measurement tool was used which provided the decimal coordinates centered on the barn. The decimal coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 3 is where the barn was once located. This pin was used to determine the address and the location information.
Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) IL Rt. 250 east of the N. Christy Ave. intersection, in Sumner, by 1.3 miles. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed east. The Mail Pouch sign faced west. One end (possibly 2). Black background.
