Other Information

The barn is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1983). The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 6 is the location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood.

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the west side of McClellan Hwy (WV-10/Riverview Ave.) north of the 9 Mile Creek Rd. intersection, in Midkiff, by 0.3 mile. The barn was on the west side of McClellan Hwy. headed north from Midkiff. The Mail Pouch sign faced north. One side. Black background.
