The barn is clearly visible in Historic Aerials' imagery (1958) and Historic Aerial Imagery (1957 - Vintage Aerial). The distance measurement tool in Historic aerials' imagery was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the center of the Mail Pouch barn. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 5 is the exact location where the Mail Pouch barn once stood. The pin was used to determine the address for the entry.

In photo 2 to the right of the barn the end of a house is visible. The house is circled in red in Photo 4. The barn is circled in yellow in Photo 4.

Where to find it

*GONE* (razed and removed) Along the southwest side of Evans Rd. (WV-87) southeast of the intersection with WV-2 by 5.2 miles, The barn was on the right side of Evans Rd. headed southeast. The Mail Pouch sign faced northeast. One side. Black background.
