MPS 38-42-05 is on the opposite side of this building.
The last image of this Mail Pouch sign is in Nov. 2008. Because of the quality of the Google street view it is not possible to see if the Mail Pouch sign was still existing at that time. Bill Plack's Photo 1 was taken in 1990. Gyla Schnauffer's Photo 2 was taken in 2000 and the sign had almost completely faded away in the ten year interim. It is doubtful that by 2022, 22 years after Photo 2 was taken that any of the Mail Pouch sign would still remain. In addition, Mandi Bowser took Photos of MPS 38-42-05, on the north side of this building and if there was anything remaining of MPS 38-42-04, on the south side of the building, she would have taken photographs.
Where to find it *GONE* (faded away) US Rt. 6 (N. Fraley Street), south of the Haines Street intersection, in Kane, by about 200'. The two-story brick building is on the left side, headed south. The MP sign faced south. Two-story brick building. Original black background.
