Other Information

The only information provided with Photos 1 & 2 was that the Mail Pouch sign was along US-40, in Brazil. Fellow Barnstormer, Jill Curnutt-Howerton, who is also the Executive Director of the Tipton County Historical Society, travelled to Clay County and met with members of the Clay County Historical Society, who were able to provided the exact location of where the building with this Mail Pouch sign had been located.

The building is clearly seen in Historic Aerials' imagery dated 1972, 1984 and 1986. The building was still existing in 1984; however, by 1986 it had been razed and removed.

Photo 4 (Google satellite image) the red pin marks the location where the building had been located. The pin is used to determine the address and the coordinates.
Where to find it

*GONE* (Building razed and removed) Along the southeast side of W. National Ave. (US-40) in Brazil. The building was located at the southwest corner of the W. National Ave./Meridian St. intersection. The Mail Pouch sign faced northeast. One side. Black background. Unique sign.
