This barn and the other structures shown in the photos were removed to allow for the construction of the Hocking Hill Elementary School.
Photo 11 & 19 the Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photo arcives were used to determine the exact location of the barn. Photo 18 is a magnified view of the southeast end of the barnshowing the Mail Pouch sign on that end. In Photo 19 the Mail Pouch barn is circled in yellow. The house, visible in Photos 4, 6 & 11, which has been razed and removed, is circled in red. The small barn visible in Photo 19 is circled in blue. This small barn had been razed and removed before 1983 (see Photo 4). Across the highway from the barn a house and a mobile home (both still existing) are circled in lime. These items are highlighted to coordinate with Photo 20.
Photo 20 (Google satellite image) is coordinated with the items referenced and circled in Photo 19. The Mail Pouch barn is noted by the red pin. This pin was used to determine the address and coordinates.
Where to find it *GONE (razed and removed)* Along the northwest side of OH Rt. 664 South of US-33 intersection, in Logan, by 8.5 miles. The barn was on the right side of the highway headed south from Logan. Mail Pouch sig on the southeast end; and, a Mail Pouch sign on the southwest side. Black Backgrounds.
