Other Information

Gyla Schnauffer spoke to the owner of the barn. He said that the barn was originally build in a different location ca. 1913 -19 and moved to the current site in 1960. He told Gyla that originally there was a Mail Pouch sign painted on the other side of the barn but it had totally faded away. Gyla reported that she examined the other side of the barn and no trace of the old MP sign remains.

Where to find it

Along the southwest side of Falmouth Rd. (US-27/N. Main St., in Cynthianan) northwest of Pearl St., in Cynthiana, by about 7.7 miles. The barn is on the left side of the highway headed northwest. The Mail Pouch sign faces southeast. One side. Black background. Because of the trees and foliage the barn is very difficult to see from US-27 when headed northwest.
