Other Information

Photo 1 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 2; and, Photo 3 is an enlarged inset view from Photo 4.

In Photos 2 & 4 the Mail Pouch sign is circled in yellow. In Photo 2 MPS 48-54-14 is circled in red.

Historic Aerials' imagery (1957) was used to determine the location of the building that MPS 48-54-13 was on. There are buildings in the 1897 photos that are still existing and visible in the Historic Aerials' imagery dated 1957. In addition, the Wood County Courthouse was existing in 1897, in the 1957 imagery and remains today. The distance measurement tool was used to obtain the decimal coordinates for the building. The coordinates were input to the Google map program and the red pin on Photo 6 is the location where the building once stood.

Photo 5 is a Google street view looking toward the vacant area where the building once stood.
