The building with MPS 48-24-13 was in the Fairmont section of the city, once known as Palatine Park. It was to the northeast of the old suspension bridge. The pier, in the Monongahela River, which supported the old bridge is visible in the satellite version of the map below. The GPS coordinates and the map below show the approximate location of where the building once stood. In the photo, there is a building to the left almost at the rivers edge which has MPS 48-24-14 (very difficult to see in this view). which faces the river.
